So about two weeks ago I went to Loara after school and attended their Project SAY meeting. I got there a little bit late but they didn't care. I listened to them talk about there plans of volunteering and what they would do after their meeting was over. After they were all pretty much done discussing there thoughts and ideas I introduced my self and talked about my project and asked if they were willing to help. They all said they would gladly help but our plan was to start a food drive over at there school, however they already have one going on at their school. They gave me ideas though and still agreed to help us out. They thought that maybe instead of collecting food, we should collect all of the hygienic stuff from Loara. the clothing from Anaheim hs, and food from Savanna. Everybody was so nice and after the meeting I spoke with Tracy, their spokesperson, and she said that it was very bold of me to go into there meeting and ask for their help when I don't even know them. (she wasn't being a mean person). They all thought I was a teacher or something. It went really good, a lot better than I expected.
